Hands-On Workshop Activity Details
During the 75 minute workshop the students will:
- Amazon Rainforest Animal Challenge – Each student will choose an animal that is native to the Amazon Rainforest, such as a jaguar, sloth, toucan, or poison dart frog and build a LEGO model of that animal.
2. Rainforest Habitat Challenge – After constructing their animal, students will build a suitable LEGO habitat representing the specific layer of the rainforest that their animal lives in (e.g. forest floor, understory, canopy, or emergent layer).
These activities support geographical understanding, environmental awareness, and creative problem-solving while encouraging teamwork and curiosity.
